BSG: Back to the drawing board...
Jun. 6th, 2008 10:03 pmOkay, so we still don't know who the Final Cylon is. I was right about D'Anna yanking Laura's chain, but unless D'Anna's got the world's greatest poker face, I don't think it's Helo now either. ::sigh::
I'll have to watch the repeat and take closer note of her reactions when Helo showed up. I was somewhat distracted by PurnaDog, so I didn't see everything. Still, I'm thinking not.
You don't suppose they'd have it be Callie, anyway, even though she's apparently dead?
Nah, didn't think so. Heh.
Oh, well. There's still Cottle and Zarek, so I may still have a shot at getting it right! Time will tell.
And does next week's ep look like a real nail-biter or what? I can hardly wait. I'm gonna have to make a point of watching that one live, too!
And just 'cause they're soooo cute together...
Bill and Laura sittin' in a tree.
K-I-S-S-I-N-G...
Whee!!!

No better way to sum up an episode.

Date: 2008-06-07 04:00 am (UTC)Each of the final five we've been shown have key positions in the fleet, so Zarek and Cottle would be prime candidates. Zarek being the one would be amusing, especially given his ineffectuality to take over the Presidency. But he's so influential with Lee... Seeing how Cottle treats man and Cylon alike, it probably wouldn't rattle him too badly, if he's the one.

Date: 2008-06-07 05:21 am (UTC)Oooh, yes! Thank you! I was going to mention that, too, but forgot because I was rushing to finish up before the show started. My thinking was that no one would expect Callie to be the Cylon because of the baby, but suddenly we find two Cylons can conceive. A clue that maybe it's not the first time? Because I just can't see them setting up Six and Tigh to be THE stepping stone to a whole new stage of Cylon evolution.
If I were writing it, it would be Callie, damn it! Heh.

Absolutely!

I agree. But, you know, if it's Cottle I wouldn't be surprised if he already knew. Just something about him. And it might explain why the fifth Cylon didn't show up when the other four gathered.
Aaaah! This is all making my head hurt.
And I'm right there with you on the ending tonight. Sheer perfection all the way around. ::sniffle::

(Something about how they built up the reaction she had to the nebula that was never resolved or explained.)
Exactly! That was the big thing that started me looking in that direction. I thought sure we'd find out she was resisting the call the others got. And how ironic it would have been, considering her extreme hatred of Cylons.
I keep thinking just maybe...
I knew it would never be Roslin. In fact, I probably would have been disappointed if it was.
Me, too. Absolutely. It would just feel wrong.
