Was that a pig I just saw flying by?

::gasp:: Look at me! Does this make three posts in one week? Hope no one drops dead from...you know...shock. ::facepalm::
For the handful of you who haven't given up on Marking Time (bless you!), I've already written a good part of the next chapter. If I don't lose momentum, I may actually have the next update just a week after posting the last one.
Is that allowed? Can I really do that, or will it ruin my reputation as the slowest writer in fandom?
Heh.
Of course, since I'm being all smarty-pants about it here, the muse will probably decide to up and take a hike. Ah well. I'll keep my fingers crossed and try to make the most of it while it lasts.
But now to the important stuff. I was reading Ask Ausiello at tvguide.com and followed his link to a cute BtVS vid at YouTube. (And where have I been that I'd never heard of this site till a few days ago?)
Anyway, I watched the other vid, and then a Spuffy vid set to the song "Knock Me Out"" popped up, so I clicked on it. So glad I did! Loved it. If you haven't seen it already, check it out here.
I'm in such a Spuffy mood lately...
ETA: Duh. Obviously I can't count. Or read a calendar date. Okay, so it's only two posts in a week and three for the month. Still, much better than my record's been for quite some time.

Not Spuffy, but one of my favorites. Hope you enjoy!

It's just hard for me to imagine people keeping up with a story that usually goes months between updates. Or even wanting to.
Even without the craziness that has been Real Life this year, I write sooooo sloooowly. I really envy those who can produce pages and pages of beautiful prose every few days. They make it look so effortless, even though I know it's not. But I fear I shall never be one of them. ::sigh::
I'm kicking around the idea of holding off on posting future chapters until I've finished the story. Then I could post it all at once. It would help keep the story from losing momentum (which it tends to do with long gaps between updates), plus it might encourage me to write faster since I'd be totally feedback-deprived until it was finished.
On the other hand, it might make it even harder to keep the writing momentum going. I dunno. I'm waffling back and forth. ::rolls eyes::
At any rate, I do hope your computer woes will soon be a thing of the past. That's just no fun at all.
Love the icon, btw! Hee!
