I've been away from LJ Land this past week and have spent all of tonight trying to catch up. Still haven't made it through all the flist posts that I missed, but hopefully will get the rest tomorrow. I was just about to call it a night on account of severe cross-eyedness, when I stumbled across it. (Plus, five other variations!) She is such a sweetheart, isn't she?
Other exciting news (for me, at least) is that some lovely, considerate person has nominated two of my stories for the Vampire Kisses Awards. A big whoo-hoo and thank you!
Marking Time is up for Best Future Fic, Best Crossover, and Best WIP. Unfinished Business has been nominated for Best Future Fic and Best Naughty Fic. Heh. (And for those interested, made lots of progress last weekend with the latest chapter of Marking Time. With any luck, an update may be happening in the not-so-distant future.)
As for the VK Awards, congrats also to fellow nominees from my flist:pfeifferpack, uisge_beatha, spikes_heart, schehrezade_1, elisi, spikeslovebite, megan_peta, and fer1213. Is that a wealth of talent, or what? Hope I didn't miss anybody.
And as icing on the cake, I just realized I've been gifted with a couple of new friends. Welcome toladypeyton and novichok74! I hope it's okay if I friend you back?
Okay, it's late now and I'm not only cross-eyed but falling asleep at the keyboard, so I'd best call it a night.
